Job Description

- To provide planning services for the project supporting delivery of the overall project schedule through all project phases including concept selection, development and execution.
- The provision of planning and reporting activities in association with the client's project team and, where appropriate, the operator's project team
and associated contractors.
- To work within the client's project team providing planning services to team members executing the scope of work of the Project.
- To work within the project services team providing the Project Directorate with regular updates of the status of the project with respect to progress and performance.

Required Qualifications
- Technical professional with proven experience in project planning and with delivery of projects.
- Has significant experience in upstream E&P projects specifically deep water, subsea and FPSO developments.
- Has verifiable performance and delivery experience in a number of responsible project assignments, including cultural or geographical variation, working as a team member.
- Proven record in the successful planning of major oil and gas projects in challenging environments, including management of contractor performance against these plans.
- Had successful interaction with range of stakeholders including joint venture partners.
- Able to apply HSE principles across all project technical activities.
- Has a good insight into the market and is able to assess the commercial impact of engineering and project decisions on project attractiveness.
- Understands the impact of strategic considerations on business decisions and has led negotiations with contractors.
- Is competent to act as expert user for project management IT applications
- Experience of varied EPC or EPCM contracts.
- Knowledge of all phases of major oil and gas projects e.g. FEED, EPC, Commissioning, Start-up etc. and experience of the project sanction process.
- Hands-on experience of using project control systems and procedures supported by current software applications - Excel, MS Project, @Risk, Primavera P3 etc.
- Familiar with the application of deterministic and probabilistic planning tools.
- Has awareness of functional project and technical assurance processes e.g. VAF, PDAS and TAS.
