Job Description

  • The Contract E&P Director will manage the projects across a variety of activities including oil and gas monetisation, contract negotiations, contract management, regulation and external stakeholder management. The Commercial Coordinator key accountabilities will include: Develop and maintain commercial decision points and milestones related to contracting of FPSOs, rigs and other key events for the projects;
  • Managing the agenda and activities related to commercial sub- committees and infrastructure planning and development for the projects.
  • Managing, Support, and participate in, key negotiations including development of oil and gas infrastructure, FPSO and rig contracting, JOA management, BV entities, and as and when required, hydrocarbon monetisation, unitisation, and JV bidding agreements;
  • Contract management framework and commercial operations related to oil and gas sales and transportation;
  • Manage the oil sales team in implementing the evolving oil sales strategy;
  • Support the gas sales team in the implementation of gas sales arrangements.

Required Qualifications

• Good business acumen and ability to understand complex situations, identify the key issues and to highlight the analysis needed to support decisions

• High level of analytical skills with the ability to provide clear, precise and persuasive analysis

• Personal maturity and resilience to handle uncertainty and often challenging business requirements

• Demonstrable skills to build relationships with NOCs, host governments, partners and others

• Good interpersonal, networking and integration skills in order to extract and maintain information flows (both internal and external)

• Clear, persuasive and credible communication style, including good command over written and spoken english

• Experience of energy sector negotiations with demonstrable success in delivery. Experience in at least one of the following areas / agreements: Upstream, T&D, LNG, Power, Marketing and Regulation.

• Good understanding of the Brazilian energy sector.
